Over the past nine months, Phoenix Space and partner have supported 104 Gazan students and 26 of their dependents who have arrived in the UK to complete their university studies.
These students earned places at leading universities through years of academic excellence – only to have their futures disrupted by conflict.
Phoenix Space serves as the central coordination and funding partner, securing tuition and living support, facilitating visa compliance, and managing complex relocation logistics. Today, these students are enrolled in priority fields including engineering, medicine, computer science, public health, finance and business, sectors critical to global economies and to the future reconstruction of Gaza.
Beneficiaries received financial aid for full or partial scholarship
Students and 26 dependents received post-arrival financial support for essentials
As a Gazan, I never imagined I would one day study at one of the top universities in the world — the leading institution for Public Health globally. Life in Gaza has always been a struggle, whether in terms of daily living, education, or even basic connectivity. But the moment I connected with Phoenix Space, everything began to change. They supported me in securing my offer, provided the necessary funding, and even guided me through the visa application process. They were with me step by step — all the way until I arrived in the UK and began my studies. Even now, their support continues, both financially and emotionally, in different and meaningful ways. Without their incredible help, I wouldn’t be here today, pursuing my dream.
