Phoenix Space is honored this year to be both speaking and a finalist in the GESS Dubai 2021

Organized in partnership with the Ministry of Education, GESS Dubai has been the focal point for education in the Middle East and beyond for 14 years. 


Phoenix Space is a non-profit organization focused on providing STEM education based around the inspirational theme of space science to refugee and disadvantaged students in the Middle East.  Our primary educational offering, the Phoenix Space Program, is a space science-focused interactive STEM curriculum combining scientific fundamentals with practical application. 


Our presentation which takes place on Tuesday 16th at 2 pm on the main stage, and in that we will be providing insights into why we chose to teach STEM and why how our programs have a positive impact on our disadvantaged students.


In addition to be part of the conference, we are very honored to be selected as finalists in the “Best CSR” Category, the award category is designed to reward organizations and companies that both demonstrate and implement outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives pertaining to education that enhances the quality of education in their respective communities.

News: Two cohorts completed our program

We are excited to announce that two of the original cohorts of the Phoenix Space Program completed the program in January. The cohort from SPI in Istanbul began in February 2020, and the St. Paul Center, Lebanon, group began in July.
